Why Visit

ConMin West Africa is the dedicated exhibition for the construction and mining industry of West Africa. The exhibition showcases a wide cross section of products and services available within the market in addition to the show’s Conference programme and the National Mining Summit.

First launched in June 2017 out of Abuja, Nigeria in partnership with IMAG, Deloitte Consulting and the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, ConMin West Africa was met with a phenomenal response from the industry. We were pleased to welcome the Acting President of Nigeria, President Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi to open the exhibition.

The inaugural exhibition, dedicated to the construction and mining industry, attracted thousands of senior industry professionals, members of state and top brands from throughout Western Africa. The exhibition was highly successful in showcasing an extensive cross section of the rapidly growing construction machinery and mining industries within the region. Following this success, ConMin will return in 2018 to the International Conference centre in Abuja, Nigeria from 15 – 17 May.

With 180 million people and a growing middle class with disposable income, the local Nigerian market is heavily investing in construction projects.

The Government has confirmed its focus on developing industries outside of the oil sector, mining has been targeted as a priority for the country, which has been boosted by the exemption on customs duties for mining and construction equipment.
